IMPA Position Paper - TransUrban Western Distributor Proposal

The TransUrban Western Distributor Proposal is a mega infrastructure project. As such IMPA recommends to the Premier Daniel Andrews; Minister for Roads, Road Safety and Ports Luke Donnellan; and Minister for Planning Richard Wynne to ensure Victorian Government undertakes in relation to the project:

  1. An Environmental Effects Statement(EES);

  2. Community participation in line with W.H.O. Consultation Guidelines;

  3. Community participation in the Terms of Reference given to TransUrban on this project; and

  4. A review of the proposal to 'roof over' of Footscray Road.
